Dyscalculia Assessor and British Dyslexia Association Dyscalculia Lead

I qualified as a secondary maths teacher over 30 years ago and quickly specialised in dyslexia and learning difficulties.  I ran my own company training specialist dyslexia teachers to level 5 and 7 while at the same time I continued to do assessments and support learners both with literacy and numeracy.

I have been with the British Dyslexia Association for almost 10 years developing their training opportunities and am now the Lead for Dyscalculia. I wrote the level 2, 3 and 5 dyscalculia accredited courses for the British Dyslexia Association and I am currently developing a level 7 course of the assessment of dyscalculia.

I have held an Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC) for over 15 years and hold AMBDA for dyslexia and dyscalculia.
