I am a specialist teacher and assessor providing one-to-one support for individuals with specific learning difficulties. I hold certifications in both dyslexia and dyscalculia. I am experienced in building diagnostic reports for individuals from primary through to higher education and into the workplace that offer a holistic view into the person’s profile and targeted recommendations for support.

I retrained to become an assessor due to my family’s experiences with Specific Learning Differences. I have two children, and both required extra help. My son was diagnosed with dyspraxia, ADHD and slow processing at the age of 5. My daughter is dyslexic.

Raising children with special educational needs has given me a unique perspective as an educator. I understand the frustration and feelings of helplessness of both children and parents, but I have also seen first-hand what the right support can do for a child who is struggling. I have unlimited patience and a genuine belief that all children can overcome their differences.
