About
I’m Roanna and I’ve been working as a qualified teacher with QTS for 18 years. I have worked with both primary and secondary pupils preparing children for their phonics screener, Year 2 SATs, Year 4 multiplication check, Year 6 SATs and maths and English GCSEs as I have a middle years PGCE with QTS. In addition, I have been SENDCo for 14 years so I have a vast experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs. I am qualified to conduct full diagnostic assessments for both dyslexia and dyscalculia after passing my Level 7 AMBDA and APC qualifications through Bath Spa University and Edge Hill University. I am registered with the BDA and PATOSS. I offer specialist tutoring services for dyslexia and dyscalculia. In my current school, I am SENDCo and maths lead and I am also a lead practitioner for SEN and maths in the local area which means that I support teachers in other schools with best practice. I believe that every child can flourish with the right teaching and support.
