I am an experienced specialist maths teacher in London, qualified to teach and assess pupils between the age of 6 and 16 with Dyscalculia or Maths Difficulties due to a specific learning difficulty. My teaching career began as a primary school teacher in 2001. In 2008, I moved onto specialising in teaching Maths to children with Dyscalculia/Maths Difficulties by becoming a ‘Numbers Count’ teacher. This role involved working 1:1 with learners with Maths Difficulties/Dyscalculia, holding workshops with parents/carers and training staff members in teaching and learning approaches in relation to Dyscalculia and ‘Mastering’ in maths.

I carry out Dyscalculia/Maths Difficulties assessments in schools and privately. I provide an access arrangement service to a number of schools. I deliver Dyscalculia/Maths Difficulties awareness talks to schools and parents. I provide a bespoke consultancy service to advise schools on their provision for children with specific learning difficulties – including access arrangements, training for teachers, support staff and advising on the needs of individual children. I also provide private tuition.
