I am the co-founder of The Dyscalculia Network C.I.C and co-author, with Prof. Steve Chinn, of a new series of Dyscalculia workbooks, ‘Succeed with Dyscalculia’.

With a career spanning 30 years in education (21 as a dyscalculia specialist), I am unwavering in my dedication for supporting individuals with dyscalculia and maths difficulties and have extensive experience.

I set up ‘The Little Maths Room’ in 2017 where I tutor learners of all ages with Dyscalculia and other SpLD’s. I am passionate about ensuring firm maths foundations are built whilst having a lot of fun using manipulatives and playing games!

I now spend much of my time co-running and co-developing the Dyscalculia Network including planning Dyscalculia Day and co-organising the Dyscalculia Show at the NEC, Birmingham. I often provide training sessions for educators and have growing experience in providing CPD for workplaces and community organisations including National Numeracy, Thames Valley Police, and West Sussex County Council. I often consult with the Dyscalculia Network’s Adults with Dyscalculia Advisory Board to ensure that the voices and experiences of those with dyscalculia are heard.

I also raise awareness of dyscalculia and maths difficulties through the Dyscalculia Network website, events, and social media!
