I am a specialist teacher and assessor for Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) in maths – including dyscalculia – and dyslexia. I have a deep passion for helping individuals understand the challenges they may face in education, work and everyday life, and for supporting them in finding practical, personalised ways to move forward.

My approach is highly person-centred: whether working as a tutor or assessor, I take the time to really get to know each individual. This ensures that the support and outcomes I provide are tailored to their needs.

I hold a PhD in Mathematics Education, an MA in Education Research, a Postgraduate Diploma in SpLD (Dyscalculia) and a Postgraduate Certificate in SpLD (Dyslexia). I also hold a Bachelor of Education and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I am an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA and AMBDA Dyscalculia) and hold an Assessor Practising Certificate (APC) with Patoss.

I offer a range of services including screenings, diagnostic assessments, assessments of need (gap analysis), coaching for SENDCos and HR professionals, and professional development training for schools and workplaces. Being able to assess for both dyscalculia and dyslexia means that we can explore a wider range of potential reasons why there might be a difficulty in maths.
